Chinese Beginner (CSL2 - Text book 3-5)
This course is designed for students who have completed one year of
Chinese lesson (CSL1) or equivalent. The main objective of the course
is to improve students’ conversation ability in Chinese. In addition
to develop read life dialogue skills, the emphasis is on Chinese
pronunciation (Pinyin). At the end of the second year, students will
be able to express preference, feeling and opinion, exchange information,
visit doctor, borrow books from library and attend a social function and
etc. Short Chinese movies will be integrated into the course curriculum.
- Learn to read 560 Chinese characters
- Learn to speak 100 Chinese sentences
- Pinyin and Chinese typing
