Chinese Advanced (CSL4 - Text book 10-12)
At this level, the course is focus on practical use of Chinese
through the combination of real life videos and interactive
animated clips, as well as general introduction to Chinese
literacy and the history of 5000 years of civilizations. By
the end of the this course, the students achieve the following
goals:
- Learn to read 1200 more Chinese characters
- Write short notes, letters, and composition independently
- Proficient in Chinese language
- Pronounce accurately and comfortably
- Able to carry out basic conversations
- Proficient in Chinese language
Grammatical and cultural related issues are also discussed
during lecture hours.
